Industrial printing without desktop-printer compromises

The CL4NX Plus is designed for production environments that need dependable barcode output throughout the day. Its die-cast aluminum construction, large media capacity, long ribbon support and operator-focused loading path reduce interruptions during high-volume runs.

Choose 203 dpi for fast general-purpose logistics labels, 305 dpi when smaller barcodes and text require added clarity, or 609 dpi for micro labels, dense symbols and fine graphics. Print speed varies by resolution and configuration.

Frequently asked questions

Which resolution should I choose?

Choose 203 dpi for standard shipping, carton and pallet labels where speed is the priority. Choose 305 dpi for smaller text and denser barcodes. Choose 609 dpi for very small labels, micro text, fine graphics and high-density symbols. Resolution is tied to the printer model; do not assume a field printhead swap converts the complete printer to another resolution.

Does the CL4NX Plus support direct thermal and thermal transfer?

Yes. Direct thermal eliminates the ribbon for shorter-life applications. Thermal transfer uses a ribbon and is generally preferred when labels need greater resistance to abrasion, chemicals, heat, moisture or extended storage.

Can it print 4 × 6 shipping labels?

Yes, a properly configured CL4NX Plus can print common 4 × 6 shipping labels. Confirm the media sensing method, direct-thermal or thermal-transfer requirement, connection and software compatibility.

Is RFID included on every printer?

No. RFID requires an RFID-capable CL4NX Plus configuration. UHF and, in some markets, HF/NFC versions support different inlay standards. Match the printer, inlay, antenna position and software to the application before ordering.

What media and ribbons should be ordered?

Start with label dimensions, surface, temperature, exposure, expected life and print method. Thermal-transfer applications also require a ribbon whose width and chemistry are compatible with the label material and durability target.

What information is needed to identify the right SKU?

Provide the required resolution, print method, connectivity, RFID requirement, cutter or dispenser requirement, label size, media type, print volume, host software and destination country.
