The Impinj Speedway Revolution R220 is a 2-port UHF RAIN RFID fixed reader for smaller portals, shelf zones and checkpoints. IPJ-REV-R220-USA2M1 is the FCC (US, Canada, Mexico) model.

Product status
Current but legacy. Impinj stated in July 2025 that the R220 and R420 remain available. For new projects, compare the R700 series.

R420 vs R220: same chassis and processor; the R420 has 4 antenna ports and up to 1,100 reads per second, the R220 has 2 ports and up to 200 reads per second.
