Does the bundle include three separate products?
Yes. It includes the WDI7500 USB scanner, the WPL305 desktop printer and a five-user WaspLabeler +2D software license.
Can the WPL305 print without a ribbon?
Yes. It supports direct-thermal printing with heat-sensitive media. Thermal-transfer printing uses a ribbon and is generally selected for longer-lasting or more durable labels.
Does the scanner read QR Codes?
Yes. The WDI7500 supports QR Code and other common 2D symbols, along with standard 1D, stacked and postal barcode formats.
Can five people use WaspLabeler +2D?
The included part number is the five-user license. Confirm installation, activation and license-use requirements for the current software release before deployment.
Can the software connect to Excel or QuickBooks?
Wasp lists connectivity with Microsoft Excel, Access, QuickBooks, Microsoft SQL Server and ODBC data sources. Confirm versions and data architecture before purchase.
What label width can the printer handle?
The WPL305 accepts media from approximately 0.78 to 4.4 inches wide and prints up to 4.25 inches across.
Are labels and ribbons included?
Not unless the active product offer explicitly lists them. Choose label dimensions and material for the application; add ribbon when using thermal-transfer media.
Can the scanner verify labels after printing?
It can read the finished barcode and send its data to the active application. Whether the scan is compared with an expected value depends on the software workflow receiving that data.
Is this bundle suitable for industrial environments?
The WDI7500 is a rugged IP65 scanner. The WPL305 is a light- to medium-duty desktop printer, so very high-volume or harsh printer environments may require an industrial printer instead.
Are volume discounts available?
Yes. Contact Spartan POS for multi-unit pricing, media recommendations, additional licenses, deployment assistance and configuration review.
